Purple Rain

Only 59 years old! That’s what Ronnie Felix would answer you if you’d ask him how old he is. This former Falcons and Sweet Notes band member used to Jam side-by-side with famous Malaysian legends like Jerry Felix and many more.

Here he is rocking it out again with his iconic number Purple Rain for the artist formerly known as PRINCE.

Source of footage taken from several places: the first shot is from Sportivo, a pub/restaurant somewhere in seremban2. The rest are from Artista bar/restaurant at the swanky  Tropicana City Mall somewhere in PJ.

My MTV 1st cut  of – Ronnie Felix Singing Purple Rain. At  2 Locations: Tropicana City Mall Artista Bar and Restaurant and some bar in Seremban named Sportivo!

This is a Work In Progress MTV. Will be adding more shots later. The ray of light in the end of the video was added in using After Effects. Video shot by a 3CCD Panasonic Camcorder. Unfortunately I can’t bring a light for shoot’s like this one cause it would blind the performer … haha… so had to make do with natural lighting, at night it’s called crappy lighting.

Am thinking of shooting single shots for this video and adding it to break the monotony of the singing shots. Will have to find a place or location for something like that.
